Kelly Greenbank

Born in 1996, Kelly began skiing at the age of five and has this season been selected for the Great Britain Children’s Ski Team [http://www.gbjuniorski.com/]. Kelly has high ambitions, and is working hard to reach World Cup status. Her dream is to one day compete in the Winter Olympic Games.

After her first skiing experience on a family holiday in Les Arcs, Kelly took lessons at Kendal Dry Slope and now trains with Ski Team Telford. Kelly trains with Telford under the guidance of Richard Breese and Chris Blagden and at Pendle Ski Club in the summer months with Carl Ryding and Colin Tee.

So far in 2009, Kelly has represented the GB Children’s Ski Team in Slovenia and achieved podium positions in the BARSC Championships, Scottish Children’s Ski Championships, British Land Championships and British Ski Championships.

Through the GB Children’s Ski team, Kelly has access to expert training sessions and camps. This August Kelly spent two weeks in Saas Fee with the team, and has further indoor and outdoor training opportunities lined up.

The winter ski season officially begins on 12th December. Kelly has a packed calendar and will be training and competing across Europe and representing Team GB internationally.
