The Thule Player of the Month Award for July goes to Alex Gidman.
Alex had a excellent month with bat, highlights being his 93 and a career best 142 against Surrey in the County Championship.
The 235 stand between Gidman and Adshead was a fifth-wicket record for Gloucestershire against Surrey.
Alex's innings of 142 lasted five and three-quarter hours at the crease in which the England A player faced 287 deliveries and hit 22 fours plus the two sixes. Together with his 93 in the first innings, it was a monumental effort.
