Steve Adshead receives July's Player of the Month award

Gloucester Cricket Club's Player of the Month for July was awarded to Steve Adshead. The award, which is sponsored by Thule , the world's largest manufacturer of car roof systems and accessories was presented to Steve at an awards ceremony at the end of the Cheltenham Festival.
Steve won this prestigious award for his score of 89 in the Twenty20 game against Worcestershire and against Lancashire at the Cheltenham Festival when he scored 55 not out and helped Gloucester come back with a draw. Steve has had an outstanding month with some great catches and playing well behind the stumps!'
Steven has already proven himself as a worthy replacement for Jack Russell – and we look forward to more great performances for the rest of the season.
