The Thule Champagne Moment of the Season was presented to Craig Spearman by Rex Body, Deputy Chairman of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, at the club’s 2007 annual award’s dinner on Tuesday evening.

Sponsored by Thule, the world’s largest manufacturer of car roof rack systems, roof boxes and accessories, the Champagne Moment is presented to a player who gives an outstanding individual performance during the season. Craig, who holds the record for the clubs highest ever individual score, was awarded the Thule Champagne Moment for his reverse sweep shot off Muttiah Muralitharan first ball at the Twenty20 Semi Final v Lancashire on 4th August 2007.
