A new year and a new name for what was previously the BMC UK Racing Team.
Now titled the Orbea- For Goodness Shakes! Team, in 2010 this group of 12 elite cyclists enter their second year as a Thule Partner in Sport.
The team is formed with riders from the Eastern region of England. The core focus is on the development of young riders, to give them the experience necessary to compete at the highest level in the UK.
The team will ride in the Premier Calendar, National Circuit Series and Tour Series, as well as selected UCI International events in 2010. This year they plan to be plan one of the highest profile teams in the UK Peloton.
The team’s manager, James Whatling, commented on the Thule support: "In 2010 the team will be travelling a great deal, and so the Thule transportation equipment and luggage will be a huge help when packing up all the equipment we travel with.”
